Strand by strand hair extensions has been around for many years. This method is called Fusion as we fuse the extensions to your natural hair. This forms a bond that will last for several Months or until removed. Having your extensions put in and removed by an experienced stylist is very important.
The removal should not be rushed at all. It is $1:00 per strand for removal. Tightening and Maintenance once Monthly is $50. The price for installing hair extensions range from $3.50 per strand to $8:00 per Strand including the hair. Our prices are lower because we import directly from the Factory. This allows us to keep our prices very low. You can see our work in the pictures.
You may compare our work to any top stylist in the world. Our pictures say it all. When we remove the Extensions we take great care so that there is no damage to your hair whatsoever. This is our only Guarantee that you will come back to us to do your hair again and recommend your friends and family to us.
Hair Weaving or Strand-by-Strand Extensions should last for at least 4 to 6 months. Monthly tightening may be necessary. If they are not lasting that long then there is likely a problem in the installation or the daily maintenance program. CAUTION: No hair extensions should be worn longer than 6 months in-between tightening or re-dos to avoid breakage or damage to your natural hair no matter what! Due to hair growth and daily maintenance, your hair extensions may become loose and will need to be tightened. CAUTION: It is very important to have your hair extensions tightened at least once a Month to avoid any damage to your own natural hair. If the hair extensions get too loose, your new growth of natural hair between your scalp and the hair extensions can matt together and cause potential breakage when trying to detangle that hair. Ask your stylist for a tightening schedule for your particular method of hair extensions.
Your natural hair sheds on a daily basis as part of a natural process. It is normal to loose up to 30 hairs a day! Just because you have extensions in your hair does not mean that this natural process stops, in fact it continues, but since your hair is held together by the extensions this stops your hair from shedding daily. So the hair that would normally shed is trapped in the installation and not falling out into your sink or latching on to your comb or brush as usual. So when you remove your hair extensions, all of that normal hair shed is then released and it appears as though a lot of hair is coming out all at once. If you are wearing your hair extensions for 8 to 12 weeks, that’s up to 1,300 hairs that you have shed during this time naturally. I can not stress enough how important it is to have a trained stylist remove your hair extensions! She or he too can explain this natural process to you. While wearing extensions your hair will grow. The difference is that immediately after removing extensions your hair will look shorter to you, only because you just removed the extra long hair extensions. This is why we must take before and after pictures. So that we can show you that your natural hair is indeed longer than when you put the extensions in.

The fusion method delivers one of the most versatile and believable weaves on the market. With this technique, a machine similar to a hot glue gun is used to adhere human hair extensions to individual strands of your natural hair (about the same size as a micro braid) for a truly authentic look. With a fusion weave, you can wash your hair every week and use products like gels and mousse to style. This is one of the most time-consuming (8 to 16 hours) and expensive methods (prices range from about $800 to $1,800).
To use a heating appliance, individual strands of hair are used. Hair is sectioned out as if the client is getting skinny individual braids. The appliance is heated to the correct temperature. The stylist attaches a section of the human hair to the client’s sectioned hair. Depending on the style, a half head of fused hair could take about 20 sections. A full head could use about 50 sections. The heating applicance can cost from $100.00 upwards. It is highly recommended that a trained and certified stylist use this technique because of potential hair loss and skin burning from the appliance may occur.Recently cold fusion extensions made of 100% human hair (no yak hair dilution) have been introduced. These hair extensions do not require any heating elements, as the intense heat used to apply traditional hair extensions may damage them.
